Are there transaction fees?
DiKAS itself charges no surcharge per card payment. You connect your own card terminal (ZVT) at the bank conditions you negotiate yourself – the card fee is set by the provider you choose, not by DiKAS. With pure SaaS registers, by contrast, a fixed rate (e.g. 1.39%) is hard-wired in.
What does the TSE cost?
In the Basic plan the Cloud TSE is included – without additional hardware and at no extra cost. From the Gastro plan the TSE is chargeable: either the Cloud TSE for €12/month or the one-off Swissbit hardware TSE (KassenSichV-compliant) for €269, certified for 5 years. Either way, every transaction is TSE-signed. Without a local server (pure cloud operation), only the cloud TSE is available.
Are there setup costs?
With self-installation there are no setup costs – you get started right away. If you would like support with the setup, we arrange that separately.
What hardware do I need?
DiKAS runs in the browser on PC, tablet or smartphone – no forced iPad. Optionally as a Linux appliance on your own hardware.
Can I cancel monthly?
Yes. DiKAS can be cancelled monthly – there is no minimum term and no long contract commitment. A cancellation in text form takes effect at the end of the current month.
